With the Einhell 3-1/4″ (83 mm) cordless portable planer 4345401 (TE-PL 18/82 Li), the DIY enthusiast and ambitious wood-builder has a powerful hand plane for applications with a planning depth of 1/64″ – 5/64″ (0.4 – 2 mm). A large cutterhead ensure optimum planing results, while the solid aluminum base plate ensures flat work results. The base plate is also equipped with a V-groove for easy chamfering of edges. Workpieces and planers are protected by the automatic parking shoe. The ergonomic handle provides a firm, secure grip and fatigue-free work. The softgrip ensures comfortable handling of the cordless planer. Included is a rip fence for straight and precise planing work as well as a folding depth stop for easy production of ledges. In addition, two TCT planing knives (reversible knife) are included, to achieve a smooth, high surface finish. As a member of the high-quality Power X-Change family, all batteries in the system series can be combined with the planer. For optimum results, the use of a 2.0 Ah or 2.5 Ah Einhell rechargeable battery (or higher) is recommended. Battery and charger sold separately.
