The palms are dipped in compounds such as Nitrile, Latex, PVC and Polyurethane, depending on the performance requirement of that style. Different thicknesses and finishes within each dipping compound, will also enhance certain performance characteristics. Generally, Nitrile offers the best durability, latex the best cool weather flexibility, PVC foam the best wet grip and Polyurethane the best dexterity.
