Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Drive structural fasteners are engineered and extensively tested to efficiently meet the most demanding wood and metal applications. The Strong-Drive family is designed to install easier than other fastening methods which saves time and money. The WSV Subfloor screw was developed for fastening subfloor sheathing using the Quik Drive auto-feed screw driving system. It has been re-engineered to reduce driving force and increase installation speed. Deep 6-lobed recessed ribbed head provides clean countersinking and more secure bit retention for fewer cam-outs. The holding power of WSV screws reduces the gaps between the joist and subfloor that cause floor squeaks. WSV screws can be easily backed out allowing for future access to floor cavities. 6-lobe T-25 drive bit (included). Dual-evaluated per ICC-ES AS233 and ICC-ES AC120 under ASTM D1761 and ASTM D1037 test criteria. Yellow zinc coatings are applied in accordance with ASTM F1941. Size: #9 Length: 2-1/2 In. Head Style: Rimmed Flat Head with Nibs Thread: Variable Finish: Yellow Zinc WARNING! This product can expose you to chemicals including wood dust which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov -.
