It’s easy to see why Sam Giannetti lists customer service and reliability as two major reasons for Preston Hardware’s success. He’s been selling paint and power tools since he was a teenager and the hardware store was known as Locatelli’s. Sam learned what made a successful family business tick. He helps maintain that same atmosphere as he watches over the main floor, the warehouse and the staff – half of which have been employed by Preston Hardware for ten years or more. The ownership group has been in the store for 34 years, a fact not lost on the customers according to Sam. “People see us in the store everyday. They like that and feel great about shopping here.” |
